Question on Part 2 test--The correct answer on test said you "may" ignore the 2nd violation...???

Just providing some thought (you should answer on Part 2 (b)may ignore the 2nd violation to get it correct) but what if Free Thrower misses the rim, fumbles the ball forward after the ball is at he/she disposal..crosses the FT line before ball hits the rim...entering from behind the three-point line before ball hits the rim, player is below the FT line outside the three-point line....all of those violations should be called, not ignored! Shout out to Bob Cain for calling out the word"MAY"...we agreed it is a poorly worded question, as their is no indication of where the initial violation took place.
